Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often before a first engagement.

How long does a typical engagement take?

It depends on the scope. A focused project — like building a sales playbook or redesigning a hiring process — typically runs 4 to 8 weeks. A full Sales Symphony engagement covering process, messaging, training, and performance systems usually spans 3 to 6 months. Our Fractional Partnership model is an ongoing monthly relationship, typically structured as a 6- to 12-month commitment. We'll recommend the right structure after the discovery call.

Do you work with early-stage companies?

Yes — and some of our most impactful work happens at the early stage. Companies hiring their first few sales reps have the most to gain from building the right foundation early. We've worked with companies from pre-revenue through Series B. The nature of the engagement looks different at each stage, but the core principles — defined process, clear messaging, structured hiring — apply regardless of team size.

What's the difference between Sales Symphony and a staffing firm?

We are not a staffing firm. We don't place reps or fill headcount. Sales Symphony builds the systems, processes, and capabilities that make the people you hire — whether we help you hire them or not — perform at a high level. We're a sales performance consultancy focused on process design, skills development, and performance infrastructure. Think of us as the architect and the coach, not the recruiter.

Do you offer ongoing support after an engagement?

Yes. Many of our clients transition from a project engagement to a lighter-touch ongoing partnership — monthly coaching calls, quarterly process reviews, or as-needed advisory support. We also offer our Fractional Partnership model for clients who want a sustained, embedded relationship over 6 to 12 months. We structure post-engagement support around what your team genuinely needs to sustain and build on the progress we made together.
